Tulipa ‘Flyaway’

Description

Fly Away is a Division 6 – Lily-flowered tulip. Introduced in 1999 this striking variety has red petals edged with yellow and has become much admired at our Show exhibits. When closed in the mornings it has the characteristic Lily-flowered shape of slim curved heads with pointed petals. During the day it begins to reveal its yellow centred inner pattern and then its star shape when fully opened.
