Moonfire, also known as Sunshine, has been classed both as a Single and as a Paeony type, Dahlia. Its flowers are bright golden yellow shading to Orange Red around the dark brown disk. They stand out against the dark brown foliage. This established variety, with its open flowers is attractive to pollinators and gardeners alike, has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
